You’re Not Alone
Human lactation is both a complex biological process and a beautiful relationship. It thrives on practice, patience, and support. You don’t have to figure this out alone. With lactation care at Monarch Medical Group you can expect a compassionate, personalized, and evidence-based approach to feeding your baby.
Formula & Breastfeeding Support
While breastfeeding is the biological norm, there are a host of reasons why families may need or choose to use formula in addition to, or in place of, human milk. Our goal is to help you determine what’s right for your baby and your family, free of judgement, and help those intentions become reality.
Start Breastfeeding Strong
Most expectant families go into the hospital with a birth plan, but few go in with an infant feeding plan despite evidence that the first hours of a baby’s life offer a unique opportunity to establish strong feeding patterns. We encourage prenatal consultations to discuss your feeding goals and develop a plan so that you and your baby can get off to the best possible start.
Postpartum Lactation Support
After your baby arrives, we welcome consultations at any age and stage. Whether you’re dealing with latch issues, engorgement, mastitis, induced lactation challenges, breastmilk under- or over-supply, formula supplementation, tongue tie/lip tie, food protein sensitivity/allergy, pumping challenges, bottle feeding challenges, breast or bottle refusal, sore nipples, or returning to work while keeping your baby well-fed, we can help.
We’re Here When You Need Us
Breastfeeding doesn’t follow a 9-to-5 schedule. Whether it’s 2am or a quiet moment between feedings, reach out anytime — Audra and our team will get back to you as soon as possible to help you find your footing.
